We threw a birthday party for Larry so he could celebrate in style and with good friends while also having an excuse for indulging in food, drink and cake! Happily, today, the hangovers are pretty damn mild – I think that can be attributed to the fact that there was plenty to eat. I ended up getting El Pollo Loco for catering and probably ordered way too much, but that only ensured we had lots of food especially later in the night as you get a bit more drunk and food just sounds AWESOME. Additionally, Nicki made two cakes for the event, one a Tres Leches cake as that was Larry’s choice, the second being one I was kind of pushing for, a marble birthday cake. Fantastic stuff.
