Star Wars: The Force Awakens is freakin’ out RIGHT NOW and I still haven’t seen it yet. Larry & I have our tickets for tomorrow and it can’t come soon enough. Spoilers have been avoided for now…although I imagine that will get harder to navigate as the day goes on in social media land.
In the meantime, since pop culture just isn’t exciting enough, a new teaser for Twin Peaks has been released! There’s honestly not much to glean from it except some beautiful new shots of Snoqualmie Falls (the waterfall outside the Great Northern Hotel) and actor Michael Horse (Deputy Hawk) speaking about the spirituality of certain places. There is a blurry white-haired guy at the end, but it’s David Lynch (and not BOB or Agent Cooper, but perhaps a hint of what to expect, Leland-style?), and the wonderful welcome sign to Twin Peaks itself, being revealed for the first time to the world in a long long time. Everything old is new again!
