The  Jury

Stephenie
Juror #3

Janu
Juror #2

Coby
Juror #1

What's the point of watching anymore?

Really, it's totally obvious who is going to win now. Koror had the ability to vote out the biggest challenge and jury threat, Tom, but did they? No. Instead they hold to 'tribal' loyalties and vote out my girl. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? It's been a while since the episode, so forgive me if I can't write accurately about what happened. I think I'm too emotional for it still.

Tom's going to take it all. Period dot.

There is absolutely no one left who could sit next to Tom and expect to win Survivor. No one. Stephenie could have, and for Tom, getting rid of Stephenie was awesome. But who could claim that they deserve or earned the million more than Tom? Gregg? Nope. Ian? Just a guy who rides coattails. Jennifer? C'mon...Amber part deux? Katie? Too annoying to everyone (although more on that later). And Caryn? Well, Caryn sucks.

My New Love of Katie

Well, if Stephenie is gone, then I have to cheer for someone. I don't want Tom to win it for some reason. He reminds me much of Mike Skupin from Australia, and I didn't want him to win either (although I didn't want him to fall in a fire either). Too goodygoody. So who's left? Katie, that's who. Talk about the queen of snark on that island. I love her. I used to not like her all that much, but c'mon, anyone who says "The female alliance is never going to work because Caryn sucks". How awesome, and true, was that? Katie, along with Stephenie, realized that the ladies had a numerical advantage over the guys PLUS Tom didn't have immunity. Strike when the iron is hot, people! At the next council, get rid of Ian or Gregg. Then go to the Final 4 and fight it out. Oh well, Tom thanks you for the million.

Final Thoughts

What's there to look forward to anymore? Tom's immunity winning streak? Gregg and Jenn being slimy? Katie getting voted off next week? Caryn opening her big trap and spilling the beans to every and anyone? <sigh> Farewell Stephenie!

Other's Thoughts:

C-Money speaks - Thanks Mr. President!!:

I just love listening to you say nuc-u-ler about 400 times in an hour instead of watching the ultimate game! But, as always, he can work a crowd... "Do you mind if I call you 'Stretch'?" "I've been called worse."

Starts out with Tom giving Stephanie his immunity AFTER tribal council, would he have given it up if Janu didn't lay her torch down? Hmmm... Not sure how to take this first 5 minutes of making Steph feel "comfortable" after council. Tom pleads his case before they even get to the point where he is in trouble. This is a man who changes his mind (he wanted to keep Steph around, remember???) so I wouldn't trust him at all. From that point, Steph makes her move, the ladies need to get together and start picking off the men. We saw this coming and I just hope Jenn, Katie and Caryn don't back out. I agree with Steph when she said these guys will not even blink when it comes to them winning the million. So, now is the time.

I hate the blind auctions. First one is ice cream for Jenn. Next is a change up from cheese and crackers to a cheeseburger and fries for Caryn and Steph. Ian almost bought himself some crabs, but gets spaghetti and and garlic bread and a nice jibe from Jeff (man, you reek!!). $40 for a beer too. Here are the infamous letters from home. Tom wanted some words from home so he held out. $220 for letters to all others who could afford it. Now comes the tears and hugging and gooey stuff... Well, we got lucky and didn't see too many tears, but we sure did get to watch Ian take a bath.

Sweet Tom moves to Caryn. I see him as a snake in the grass right now, especially after that initial plea. Will he win immunity again? The challenge looks just that, challenging. Ian sure has some good aim. Hits every time. Looks like Tom doesn't have much of a chance this time. And out of all that, Tom takes out Ian's last tile and wins immunity for Ian. What irony, huh? Now, will we see the ladies scramble to get an alliance or will Tom's little pep talk to Caryn take hold? Who will go? Steph or Tom. I'd like to see Tom go just because I don't want another Colby thing going here. Has the editing staff kept us in the dark? Only 2 minutes, 2 seconds will tell...

Caryn is an honest person. She's telling Tom how things are and Tom puts her on the spot! She's trying to be nice and I don't think she has a devious bone in her body. Reminds me of Scout. Ian is afraid to vote out "dad" and I'm curious. Katie really wants to oust Tom and is asking everyone about it. Could it turn and she goes? BRING IT ON, JEFF!!

...So they voted Stephanie out. Good job editors. I think it was foolish of them to keep Tom, but I'm not sitting on that island with them. Thank God too is Ian stinks that bad. Blech!

The previews for next week leave a lot to be desired, tho. I was hoping for a little more to chew on for a while. Oh well. Nighty-night!!
