{"id":22608,"date":"2019-12-04T18:20:04","date_gmt":"2019-12-05T02:20:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hobiebarnes.com\/?p=22608"},"modified":"2020-01-22T18:23:53","modified_gmt":"2020-01-23T02:23:53","slug":"a-knives-out-wednesday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hobiebarnes.com\/?p=22608","title":{"rendered":"A Knives Out Wednesday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I went into PwC DTLA today to get my laptop issues resolved.\u00a0\u00a0Took some time but it was a nice mental break, although I couldnt\u2019 stop from crying when I visited with Derrick briefly.\u00a0\u00a0It was also raining like crazy today, which made it annoying.\u00a0\u00a0Larry got gaggy as I had asked for him to shower today, which he hadn\u2019t done for quite a while.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The stress of the shower itself is a lot, and I\u2019ve already bought a shower seat for him, as well as brought up a chair for him to sit on if necessary in the bathroom.\u00a0\u00a0I got home around 1 with lunch, and then played some Jedi Fallen Order, which is a GREAT video game.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I also was weak and bought myself a Valve Index VR kit for my computer.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I won\u2019t get it probably till next year.\u00a0\u00a0Oh well, my Christmas gift to myself, I guess?\u00a0\u00a0I was texting with Nicki today and I think the thing I\u2019d like to get for Larry is a wedding album finally.\u00a0\u00a0I think that will mean more than some thing.\u00a0\u00a0Who knows.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Anyway, we then finally got to see <em>Knives Out<\/em>!<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"580\" height=\"327\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qGqiHJTsRkQ?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It was a lot of fun, and I am so happy that Rian Johnson is making great movies.\u00a0\u00a0I still absolutely love watching The Last Jedi.\u00a0\u00a0Such a great movie.\u00a0\u00a0Nicki joined us for that at our Cinemark theater right here which is just fantastic.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Who would think that from how it looks on the outside, but it is wonderful little theater.\u00a0\u00a0Will be interesting to see if the NoHo West has a movie complex there when it opens?\u00a0\u00a0Could signal the end for this one?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0But the prices here are just incredibly cheap and the seats are all recliner, which makes it lux.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Tomorrow we go to Santa Monica UCLA to sign the paperwork and get the clinical trials started.<\/p>\n<p>Oh also the new\u00a0James Bond\u00a0movie trailer came out for \u2018No Time to Die\u2019.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Looks intriguing so far!<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center;
