Wow – last night I went after work to an NBC get-together that the Commercial Operations folks threw at a bar in their neck of the woods. I say ‘their neck of the woods’ because the CommOps people don’t work at 30 Rock and instead work very close to the Empire State Building, which is about 20 streets south of where I am. ANYWAYS, a few of us were invited and so we went to this place called Tonic East, which is this very cool, multi-floored bar. (Side Tangent: A multi-floored bar just doesn’t seem like a good idea if you’re trying to keep drunk people from hurting themselves…) This party was on the roof-level of the bar and was pretty fun. But the best part: the ridiculous amount of good-looking people at this bar, not just with the party I was at but in general. I think this bar must be a place where all the good-looking 20 and 30-year-olds go to after work. And damn, the people were just amazing looking. And then I noticed that the Comm Ops men were almost all hot. I am glad I don’t work in that group. I’d never get anything done with all the gawking I’d be doing. 🙂
